Construction and Composition
This nylon serving litz wire is based on a complex bundle of 4,000 strands of ultra fine, solderable enameled copper wire. Each individual strand is only 0.03mm in diameter- thinner than a strand of human hair. These strands are carefully twisted together to create one conductor. This special lay-out ensures that high-frequency currents flow on the surface of all the strands and thus minimizing the ac resistance and the eddy currents losses. We wrap the litz wire with natural silk. This final layer not only offers great electrical insulation, but also provides a high degree of flexibility and durability allowing the wire to be pulled through conduit without breaking.
Revolutionizing Wireless Charging
This is the best arrangement for high-performance wireless charging coils. With current Qi-standard and proprietary fast-charging solutions, the frequencies used are in the 100kHz to a few MHz (range). At such frequencies a solid copper wire would have its power severely dissipated.
